I'm one of "those" cat and dog moms. I don't board my Lab/Great Dane mix because I don't want to stress her out (ok, me out). I found Lisa over a year ago and I won't let anyone else stay with my animals. She is great with my Ella and Minka and I feel better about leaving them when I know she will be there. I don't go on vacation because I cannot leave my baby boy, Jackson, with anyone. My friends treat their dogs like...well, dogs. That just won't do! I needed someone who would treat him like part of the family. He sleeps in the bed with me! I feed him from my plate! I never leave him home alone. I NEVER would put him in a cage, for God's sake! Then I met and interviewed Lisa. She let us come to visit with our baby. We discussed my expectations and concerns, and I could immediately see that Lisa's philosophy was aligned with my own. I knew then that I could trust her with my boy. Jackson stayed with Lisa for a week over the July 4th holiday. She sent me pictures every day. She let Jackson sleep with her every night and kept him calm while the noise of fireworks went on. He was a happy, healthy boy when I picked him up. I will never use another sitter again. Finding someone that you trust to give a key to your house and enter 3x per week when you aren't there and care for your furry babies is not easy. Finding all that and totally reasonable prices in one package is amazing and Lisa is all that. When she came over to meet Simon the first time she was all about him and asked all the right questions about his behavior and likes/dislikes to let me know that he was being left in caring, loving hands while I'm gone. I love that I get a pic of him every day from his walks and he always looks super happy. I would have no qualms about leaving him with her for an overnight trip if I needed to or having her come in to care for our cat while we are away. Ty is our dog and means the world to us. He turns 10 this summer and for the entire past decade, we have never felt 100% about going on vacations without him.
